Responsible for facility-level electrical design for low-voltage systems (480V and below) including power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and special systems using the National Electrical Code (NEC), governing building codes, and industry standards.
Participating in the design effort on large and small projects.
Develop electrical construction drawings (i.e. lighting plans, power plans, special systems plans, fire alarm system plans, details, single lines/riser diagrams, and panel schedules).
Coordinate design requirements with other discipline engineers/designers and architects.
Assure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company design and production standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Electrical Design focused on building systems.
Working knowledge of the NEC and NFPA Standards
Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT.
Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Capability with lighting design software (AGi32, Visual, or ElumTools) is a plus.
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Science, and Laboratory industries is a plus.
