SUMMARY

Provides analytical information and supports to the Fixed Operations sales function. Key accountabilities will include management reporting, pulling and analyzing region/distributor/zone/district comparative data (including comparing against prior years) and identification of sales opportunities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Parts Sales Analysis:
a. Provides analytical support and prepares all monthly reports for distribution to executive management, regions, and zones.
b. Provides analysis of Units in Operations (UIO) by Retailer, District, Zone, and Region to identify sales and profit opportunities in underperforming markets.
c. Analyzes Parts sales and produces analysis summary report, at minimum, twice per quarter on opportunity areas to provide a comprehensive overview of Parts sales and answer the questions of Who, What, Where, When, and Why.
d. Reviews the monthly functional code Fixed Operations sales reports to highlight sales opportunities. Analyzes and identifies opportunities on key retailer performance areas, presents to National Parts Sales Manager and distributes as requested.
e. Provides detection of non-loyal purchasing activity via these same functional category reports.
• Parts Sales Reporting:
a. Maintains responsibility for creating, reviewing, and disseminating daily sales report and maintaining format and accuracy of these complex and detailed reports.
b. Generates and provides analyses on various reports within specific and strict timelines based on matters such as date of information received and month-end close.
c. Maintains the OBI (reporting system) retailer objectives and changes and retail parts management (RPM) changes due to buy/sell and new retailer appointments within 10 days after notification from retailer development. This entails making system updates as necessary throughout the buy/sell process.
d. Responds to requests from upper management to create various ad hoc custom reports as needed.
• Provides support to National Parts Sales Manager (NPSM), including training interns, working together on analysis and competitive price shopping online, and creating Intranet announcements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews and processes departmental vendor invoicing and credits for Subaru Tire, Oil, Chemical, PartsEye, SnapOn EPC, XTime, Care Connect programs, etc.
• Updates Buy/Sell dealer objective changes in OBI.
• Completes benchmarking survey (i.e., Carlisle NASB) by maintaining responsibility for survey data collection, working with various departments on data collection, updating report data points, and ensuring complete and accurate information.
• Updates and distributes the Oil Purchase and Savings information to the Regions, Zones, and District Parts/Service Managers (DPSMs).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Proficient in OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence).
• Ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Light automotive technical knowledge.
• Retailer service and parts operations knowledge preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 2-4 years' experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Required Travel: 10%

COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $55800 - $79700 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
