PayPal is seeking an SAP Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join the Finance Technologies and Insights team.


Meet our team:


As a member of Finance Technology and Insights team, you will manage SAP Application and support; Integration within finance landscape, ensure uninterrupted service and facilitate enhancements and/or updates to the system, drive and support various Finance Transformation initiatives, including implementing S4Hana and CFIN and supporting SAP systems. You will work with various global teams to identify opportunities to optimize and automate Finance processes and help institutionalize Finance business process knowledge.

As an SAP Sr. Business Systems Analyst , you'll be at the forefront of our SAP Support team. You'll leverage your expertise to improve and automate streamlined processes, enabling better financial visibility and control. This will directly translate to improved decision-making, increased efficiency, increased accuracy of financial transactions and reporting, and a stronger financial foundation for the entire organization.



Your day to day:



  • Configure / design SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, AR, AP and other modules

  • Support end to end S4Hana / ECC country specific Localization solution

  • Solution and document functional specifications

  • Define, execute and support testing of the solution

  • Work with the Application Architects and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and to translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP configuration and custom SAP development work.

  • Document all implemented solutions and mentor SAP Support Specialists to ensure successful end user support.

  • Collaborate with Client and Support team to ensure customer queries are duly addressed

  • Monitor application status performance and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders

  • Analyze functional and technical cases and provide a resolution in accordance with agreed customer metrics

  • Work closely with support partners in the management and resolution of help desk.

  • Participation in the design of cross-functional & technical solution areas and integration with other modules

  • Provide business and functional/technical support to the SAP module, mainly for conversions from legacy SAP systems to SAP S4HANA via CFIN

  • Assess the impact and gaps in the current business processes and configuration for the SAP module compared to the equivalent in SAP S4 HANA and provide alternatives and recommendations on the delta design.

  • Develop functional and technical specifications for the delta design and tools to support the SAP S4HANA conversion.

  • Execute the necessary system configuration to enable SAP S4 HANA implementation.

  • Set up New Functionalities provided by SAP as part of upgrades, such as the Accrual Engine, New asset accounting, etc., to simplify the architecture.


What do you need to bring:



  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field is preferred

  • 10+ years of technical and functional expertise in SAP S4 HANA, Central Finance, Fiori, SAP ECC

  • Must have experience in at least 2 full cycle SAP implementations pilot and at least 2 years experience in an SAP application maintenance and support role.

  • Expertise in Bank Accounting set up in SAP, including Bank Master setup and electronic Bank Statement Configuration.

  • Must know local GAAP requirements like China, Brazil, Mexico, Israel, India, Russia, etc.

  • Must have experience in asset accounting.

  • Ability to work with process modeling tools such as Tricentis, Jira, Signavio, HP ALM, etc.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)

  • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.

  • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
