The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills and experience in the alcoholic beverage or consumer goods industry. Key Responsibilities
S&OP Process Leadership
Develop, implement, and facilitate the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans. Lead cross-functional meetings with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams. Monitor and report on the performance of the S&OP process, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Demand Planning Collaboration
Partner with Demand Planners and Sales to consolidate and validate demand forecasts, ensuring accurate SKU-level projections. Collaborate on promotional planning, new product introductions, and seasonal trends to reflect demand changes effectively. Develop tools and templates to standardize the collection and analysis of demand data.
Supply and Inventory Management
Work with supply planners and operations teams to balance demand with supply capacity and inventory targets. Monitor days of supply across the distribution network, ensuring consistent availability while minimizing excess. Resolve supply imbalances and recommend contingency plans for service level risks.
Data and Insights
Analyze forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service performance to identify gaps and opportunities. Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership to review performance metrics and key issues. Provide input for budgeting and financial planning processes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the key point of contact for S&OP-related matters across departments. Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability through clear communication and follow-through. Train and mentor team members on S&OP principles and best practices. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in demand planning or S&OP, preferably in the beverage or FMCG industries.
Strong understanding of demand and supply planning concepts, including forecasting and inventory management.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and planning tools (e.g., JDA, Anaplan, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
