The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for engaging with potential and existing customers through phone calls, emails, and digital platforms to promote and sell OHD Parts products or services. They work to understand customer needs, maintain strong relationships and provide solutions that drive sales growth. A key part of the role is achieving sales targets and contributing to the development and execution of sales plans. The specialist must track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and report progress to management. Success in the role is measured by meeting or exceeding sales goals, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting overall business growth.Qualifications:
Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1-3 years experience in an inside sales, business development or account management role
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of garage door industry preferred, but alternatively knowledge of building products, plumbing supplies, electrical suppliers or other industrial B2B products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with customers
Strong business acumen, familiar with cost/price/margin calculations
Exceptional follow-through and customer service drive
Ability to work effectively across departments and teams
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Knowledge of Oracle EBS a plus

Develop, maintain, and grow meaningful, productive relationships with new and existing customer accounts (i.e. dealer and distributor).
Generate and drive new business and sales plan attainment through in-bound lead follow-up, outbound calls, customer relationship management, quoting, product presentations, and account service.
Handle all new account openings and fully execute the sales cycle.
Increase share of existing accounts spend.
Respond to customer inquiries Maintain detailed account plans and notes including forecasts, objections, and action plans.
Collaborate with District Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Channel partners to drive market share and sales growth among door industry professionals.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management and others as required to earn and develop new business opportunities.
Build in-depth knowledge of door industry and parts including products, sources, competitors, and customers.
Primary point of contact for designated prospects and accounts in assigned region or territory.
Develop deep expertise in OHD Parts systems and tools.
Attends sales training program in order to develop a solution sales process in order to meet assigned inside sales metrics and progress within organization.
Independently maintain high level of daily sales activity and report on KPIs weekly.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
