Responsibilities (Inventory)
Inventory Management: Part storage, managing zero balance items, identify parts usage trends, maintain IRA, and maintain inventory budget
Cycle counting weekly
Parts kitting
Parts return to vendors, filling out the proper documents.
Critical parts management: Identification of critical spares, part integrity of items on shelf, best practices for storage, review obsolescence parts and recommendations.
Create BOM (Bill of Materials) for maintenance and freight shipments
Identify slow-moving or obsolete parts, monitor Min & Max values adjusting as needed
Working with MRO for editing parts information in SAP
Notify MRO with changes needed to be made to stock parts (material descriptions, vendor part numbers)
Ability to load and unload freight with a forklift
Communicating with suppliers on parts order, lead times, and urgent needs.
Creating purchase requisitions for Maintenance Members
Record keeping: Maintaining packing lists, invoicing, shipping paperwork, MROs, and providing to Corporate office.
Assist MRO Buyer and Accounting with watching open purchase orders, missing invoices, and other misc. issues.
Run required reports weekly: Out of stock, Parts expected, fast moving, slow moving
Work with vendors to get Return information or RMA for parts being returned
Keep stock of radio's mics for the plant
Order Maintenance supplies (gloves, hats. Tools, etc.)
Work with a planner on equipment manuals
Creating and maintaining equipment BOM in SAP
Maintaining a clean and well-organized parts room and other parts storage locations
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
2 or more years of computer experience required
Skills and Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
2 years computer skills required
Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook beneficial
