Senior Operations Coordinator - Healthcare Industry Group (HIG)

Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group is seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator to join our team. As our organization continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced professional to support the People & Culture programs within our Operations Team. Based in our New York City office, the Senior Operations Coordinator will be integral in managing key processes such as onboarding, performance management, staff mentorship programs, and reporting.

Reporting directly to the Chief Talent & Experience Officer, this role will work closely with the business, and senior leadership, including our Chief Diversity Officer, Learning & Development Director and the Talent Acquisition team, to ensure the alignment of operational initiatives with the company's goals. You will leverage data and technology to inform process improvements and help foster a culture of engagement, diversity, and high performance. To succeed in this dynamic environment, you must be detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at collaborating across multiple teams. The Senior Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting employee experiences and contributing to the growth and development of the Healthcare Industry Group.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and enhance onboarding and new hire development processes

  • Oversee and manage performance management initiatives

  • Coordinate and deliver mentorship programming

  • Support Annual Compensation process

  • Manage Internship Program

  • Provide reporting and analytics support including:

    • Monthly staff reports

    • Quarterly reports on hires/turnover and recruitment (in partnership with the TA Senior Manager)

    • DEI metrics (in collaboration with the Chief Diversity Officer)

    • Other ad-hoc reporting is needed



  • Project Management of internal engagement committee programming as needed


Experience and Skills Required:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in both in-person and remote environments

  • A consultative approach focused on relationship-building, understanding challenges, and developing tailored solutions

Compensation Statement

The annual base salary range is $70 - 90k commensurate with experience. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
