Responsibilities:
Training - Internal & External
Provide field support to our sales organization by providing customers with technical guidance pre-sale, and instrument training post-sale.
Conduct internal training across commercial teams and business units
Develop and maintain Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships through scientific communication and updates
Collaborate with global technical training teams and share best-practices across the organization
Voice of Customer (VOC) & Customer Relations Management
Act as a liaison between customers, R&D, and Product Management teams
Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at national conferences and events to observe and communicate developing trends
Business Development
Identify new opportunities and highlight gaps in the current portfolio
Collaborate with R&D and Product Management teams
Support internal business and product development through feedback on innovative pipelines
Stay updated on scientific and industry trends
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
BA or BS in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Stem Cell Biology, Bio-Technology, or related scientific field
3+ years of experience with flow cytometry experiments and instruments (knowledge of how to set up and troubleshoot experiments (deep knowledge of sample preparation, compensation and proper controls)
Proven problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and customer-facing from a remote home office
Travel up to 50% or more
Valid Driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a flow cytometry core facility
3+ years of laboratory experience with flow cytometry
Experience with Attune NxT or similar high-parameter flow cytometers
Customer-facing experience and technical presentation skills
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in North Carolina is $60,000.00-$90,000.00.
