Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented Injection Molding Tooling engineer to support all aspects of Tool design/manufacture and Assembly. The Injection Molding Tooling engineer's responsibilities include working on new customer generation, follow up on open RFQ’s, support all technical designs and plastic injection mold making projects including custom project quoting.

We are seeking a manufacturing engineer who can develop and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Project management of inside/outside customer for new tooling, designs, and repair of existing IJM tooling.
  • Coordinate with production customer needs and lead times.
  • Lead contact with customers and tooling vendors.
  • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Review all tooling and identify efficient use of various capabilities
  • Project management. Drive efficiencies, CI initiatives and machine processing
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
  • Coordinate projects through all departments, collaborating with customers and vendors to maintain on time deliveries of new tooling and repair of existing molds.
  • Collaborated with customers and the design team to bring innovative ideas from concept to molded piece parts.
  • Work with leads to generate new customers as well as nurture existing customer base on new projects.


Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

  • Experience using Solid works, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Plastic Injection Mold design.
  • Strong organization and management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High level of technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical thinker.
  • Journeyman Mold maker preferred.
  • ISO experience preferred.
