Your new role: As a Project Engineer, you will provide crucial administrative and project management support to the Project and Field Management teams. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with project scheduling, bidding, take-offs, procurement, and cost controls.
Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Ensuring projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed:
2+ years of experience in the construction industry (general contractor preferred but will look into subcontractor background too)
Experience in commercial construction projects, ideally new construction.
A degree in a construction-related field is preferred but not required.
Strong multitasking and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization.
Familiarity with construction software like Procore or Bluebeam, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Candidates must be local to Northern Virginia or DC.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive base salary ($75k - $90k, depending on experience).
