Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Programmer/Analyst to join our team. This role requires a strong background in enterprise-level Java development, with a focus on Spring Boot, Java 8+, and REST API. The ideal candidate is a go-getter, eager to learn, and passionate about exploring new solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field
7+ years of experience in software development, including creating and maintaining application interfaces between various data sources and applications
1+ years of experience with DevOps
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud services on AWS or GCP
Background in payments/payment processing (e.g., PayPal, Venmo, ACH, Check, Gift Card, Debit Card, Zelle, Bill Pay)
Thrives in a dynamic work environment, exhibits flexibility, and is recognized as a strong team player
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and plan complex tasks in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to see and articulate patterns and relationships between technologies, processes, business models, and people
Expert in conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrating out-of-the-box problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration skills, positive attitude, high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and highly motivated
Adept at building team relationships and partnering across organizational lines
Strong experience with the SDLC process
Strong experience developing application interfaces (API) with Java or similar object-oriented languages
Strong Java development experience, including experience with the Spring Framework, Eclipse, Maven, and Gradle
Experience with REST, JSON, or SOAP web interfaces
Experience with Jenkins build management systems and automated testing frameworks such as Junit
Experience with Git source control management and web interfaces such as GitHub
Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CICD) methodologies
