Your Role: Operator – Product Recovery

As a Recovery Operator, you will work under the supervision of the Operations Leader, managing batch operations for recovery and load-out equipment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating recovery equipment, ensuring smooth formulation and load-out processes, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment to meet operational standards.

This posting will offer a one-time sign on bonus of $2,500!

Your Responsibilities:


  • Operate and monitor recovery equipment using manual and automated (Delta V) controls, including filters and cleaning solutions.


  • Charge raw materials to process vessels and accurately record operational data.


  • Perform in-process sampling and lab tests to ensure quality standards (OD, pH, conductivity, color density).


  • Load finished products into containers and stage them for shipment, working closely with the Materials Coordinator.


  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area and assist in plant safety and environmental procedures.


What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent


  • Required Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or operations


  • Top 2 skills: Ability to operate recovery equipment, strong organizational skills


What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):


  • Experience with Micro- and Ultra-Filtration


  • Familiarity with Delta V or similar batch control systems


  • Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes


  • Relevant technical trade degree


  • Forklift operation experience


Additional Information:


  • Location: Terre Haute, IN Manufacturing Site


  • Travel: Minimal travel required • Location: (Insert location) – On-site position with rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights every six weeks)


  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate forklifts


  • Shift: 12-hour shifts from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM (days) and 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM (nights), with potential overtime


  • Opportunity for growth and development within our fermentation area


This position is a fixed duration employee with a one-year contract, annually renewable for up to 4 years with a potential for a full-time position, based on individual performance and business needs.
