Job Description:

Position Summary:

The USDA Construction Servicing Specialist is responsible for essential functions related to construction loan advances, construction loan disbursements and associated loan file reconciliation and documentation.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Completes reconciliation of loan to Funds Control Project budget and ensures loan funds remain in balance with change orders, reallocations, and Guaranteeing Agency requirements.
Reviews standardized construction documents, checklist and budget worksheets that support the construction phase of the commercial loan to ensure the commercial project is executed in accordance with loan agreement.
Maintains constant communication with the borrower and contractor during various stages of the construction loan life cycle via email and phone.
Prepares and reports construction advances to borrowers, participants and others as appropriate.
Responsible for maintaining construction project documentation associated with each construction draw ensuring documents are accurately indexed.
Other duties as assigned

Work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, analyze requests, understand issues, and develop appropriate solutions.
Understand simple and complex compliance matters, when applicable, to meet the statutory and regulatory requirements of assigned areas of responsibility.
Communicate clearly and concisely via an appropriate level of verbal, written, and presentation skills. Also, possess the ability to read, comprehend and explain applicable documentation.
Proficiently utilize a computer and the software applicable to this position.
Ability to develop business cases that inform, persuade, and inspire action.
Possess the ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic operations and calculations as appropriate for your position.
Possess and maintain broad knowledge of the job functions required in the positions you directly supervise.
Communicate clearly and concisely via an appropriate level of verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proficiently utilize a computer and the software applicable to this position.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated excellence in working with peer teams across organizations.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and banking software programs and platforms.
