Job Description
Position Overview
As our IT Specialist, Conference Room AV Support, you will be the key resource to manage and run our audio visual systems and technology. You will be based in our corporate office in Chicago, where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, patching and improving our systems. You'll also participate in design sessions and planning for future state. You will create documentation for end users, as well as technical documentation for team members, on how to use the systems effectively. You will support large events in our multipurpose room and ensure we deliver a quality events. You will provide support and direction for our remote office AV needs.
Responsibilities
Adhere to the company's values and behaviors while providing competent, service-oriented 2nd level support to employees and end-users
Serve as the primary point of escalation for all AV issues. Work closely with service desk team to delegate tasks when required
Provide "White-Glove" meeting support for large, multi-function room.
Log service incidents with our third party AV integrator, manage those incidents and escort vendor onsite in Chicago. Work with remote staff to escort vendor in non-Chicago locations.
Check on Chicago conference room equipment weekly, verify room status and readiness.
Create and distribute documentation for the rooms or to end users directly on how to use the systems. Disseminate information to the technology team as needed
Actively monitor and run reports on our AV systems, looking for problems. Drive resolutions
Help remote employees and offices connect to AV systems, providing documentation as required. In some cases this will require documentation in another language.
Knowledge of other AV technologies and areas we could improve
Work closely with our executive assistants to discover when important meetings are scheduled and providing in person support for key meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience providing AV support in a corporate environment
Experience with Polycom, Crestron, Logitech and Microsoft Teams
Occasional travel to perform onsite support or training
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field

Base Pay
$28.85 - 40.87 USD Hourly
Bonus: 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
