Job Responsibilities

• Performance of microbiological assays for media and product release and coordination of microorganism identifications.




• Assist with the maintenance of laboratory/media supplies and equipment.




• Responsible for ensuring the performance qualification of the clean rooms.




• Writing and coordinating excursion reports and environmental investigations, as well as writing trend reports and standard operational procedures, deviations, and corrective actions.




• Ensuring corporate, cGMP, and regulatory mentorship of all activities within the department.




• Performing review of data collection and assay documents.

Education

Bachelor's of Science/Arts in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field of study. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Experience

One (1) to two (2) years of experience performing related Quality Control or Laboratory tasks. Confirmed knowledge in general lab skills and micro assays, environmental monitoring, and aseptic processing. Knowledge of cGMP is critical to success.
