Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

In this role, you will:
Accurately accession patient specimens into the laboratory information system
Provide support for pathologists, histology technicians, and gross technicians in the dermatology pathology lab
Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance on instruments and stain lines
Correlate H&E and IHC slides for scanning and distribution
Embed processed tissue specimens in paraffin blocks
Prepare chemical and biological waste for removal
File, retrieve and scan pathology materials for send out studies and specialized testing
Answer phones and serve as a resource for clients and patients
All you need is:
High School Diploma, minimum
One year of laboratory training or experience is preferred, or qualified to receive on the job training
Strong reading, writing, communication, multitasking, time management, and analytical skills
Ability to operate general laboratory and office equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated slide scanning and staining systems, microscopes, and audible alarms
Bonus points if you've got:
2+ years of laboratory training or experience in a high volume laboratory
