Description:

Maps Credit Union seeks a Core System Administrator to manage and maintain our Fiserv DNA core banking system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in core administration, a deep understanding of Fiserv DNA, and a proven track record of ensuring system stability, performance, and security. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our banking services and requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can operate both independently and as part of a team.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Fiserv DNA core banking system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the core system, implementing measures to prevent data corruption and loss.
  • Provide advanced technical support for complex issues, working closely with IT staff and vendors to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Participate in Fiserv DNA training, Fiserv Community, and other opportunities to improve skills, keep abreast of best practices and changes to the platform and products.
  • Lead and participate in projects related to system enhancements, integrations, and other IT initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other business units to understand their goals and provide technical assistance to help achieve them.
  • Follow regulatory and policy compliance requirements, which include those efforts in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags and other compliance-related policies.
Requirements:


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Proficiency in Fiserv DNA, SQL, database management, and system integration.
  2. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security protocols.
  3. Experience automating data flow that interacts with the Core system.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  7. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, problem-prevention, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  8. Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  10. Ability to work with co-workers, members, and outside agencies professionally and tactfully.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in core banking system administration, with at least 5 years specifically administering Fiserv DNA.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Must submit to an annual background investigative report initiated by the Credit Union. The investigative report will include credit and criminal review, and results must meet the minimum standards established by the Credit Union in its hiring practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications such as Fiserv DNA Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with banking industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 days remote and 2 days onsite.)


Exempt Starting Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
