SUMMARY

The Sr Manager, Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) is responsible for supporting the design and execution of the I&D strategy. This individual delivers programs, solutions and connections to enable a more engaged workforce which better reflect the markets served, and supports our leaders and employees to leverage diversity and inclusion to create an inclusive workplace.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and drive execution of a comprehensive DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) strategy.

  • Work closely with internal partners (HRBP, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development) to analyze, evaluate and report on I&D in Talent programs and processes. Influence better decisions related to people practices and HR priorities through compelling data, analysis and recommendations that align with the company's cultural beliefs and leadership behaviors.

  • Evaluate and monitor metrics to ensure goals and objectives are being met and communicate those outcomes. Partner with workforce analytics team to utilize metrics for benchmarking enhancements and continuous improvements.

  • Develop and manage DEIB based mentorship programs and initiatives.

  • Facilitate partnerships between Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and business partners based on DEIB strategic priorities.

  • Partner with Learning and Development to embed I&D in key learning programs. Seek opportunities to embed capability building, where appropriate (interview training, succession planning, etc.).

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to motivate senior leaders, stakeholders and peer groups.

  • Connect cross functional groups to drive effective teamwork, communication and collaboration across multiple groups with competing priorities.

  • Deliver training on I&D to a wide variety of audiences and train the trainers to do so throughout the HR team.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of experience as HR Business Partner or in an HR CoE (Center of Excellence) function such as Talent, People Analytics, or Inclusion and Diversity, including experience in the development and implementation of corporate-wide programs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Ability to handle complex issues with discretion, think proactively, function independently and influence without authority

  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence, negotiation and partnering

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to use the facts to drive change and executive strategies

  • Proven project management skills

  • Consulting, advising or coaching skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Travel required up to 25% of the time

  • Multi-national or global work experience a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$132,600.00 - $199,160.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
