What we do:
Enterprise Support (ES) Consolidates accountability for all technology support services across the Bank.
Coordinate with National IT on matters of shared infrastructure, system processes and end-user technologies across the System to ensure seamless delivery and support. Collaborate with Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities (EPC) and Enterprise Architect (EA) to achieve standard infrastructure capabilities/products, infrastructure engineering, provision and deployment of infrastructure components. Oversee infrastructure and operations support processes to ensure stability and continuous improvement of the production environments. Manage full life cycle of End-User technology. Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with service providers and vendors.
Outcomes will include modified support model for agile delivery and cloud adoption. On-demand infrastructure provisioning to support rapid application change and infrastructure scaling using agile and programmable infrastructure. Improved speed and flexibility by becoming more nimble and better leveraging vendors. Scalable, flexible workplace technologies and efficient change practices adapt to the nature of work being performed, driving greater asset use and productivity.
Your role as IT Product Support Associate:
You will provide support and maintenance for business applications and products used throughout the Bank, reporting directly to IT Product Support Manager.
Your role will be to:
Provide first level support for Markets Operational and Analytical Data products in the production environment on a 24x7 basis
Participate in incident management events by actively troubleshooting issues, assessing business impacts, escalating responses, and working to resolve production problems and operational issues
Analyze the impact of business or technical changes on the products, and recommend appropriate modifications
Actively participate in development of new cloud solutions, contributing to tasks such as data migration, production readiness, building observability and monitoring, as a member of Agile squads
Create and maintain pipelines to deploy product changes using source control such as GitLab (e.g. used by Squad/team to deploy on Databricks)
Contribute to automation and improvement of operational processes with a focus on resiliency
Provide Non-Functional requirements, and execute Non-Functional testing, including Connectivity Testing, and Failover Testing
Assist with application security reviews, access provisioning and certifications, audits, and quarterly attestations and recertifications
Maintain, enhance, and develop documentation covering operational support procedures, troubleshooting guides, incident management plans and risk events
Some weekend work inclusive of Friday night, Saturday and/or Sunday as needed
What we are looking for:
Experience providing first/second level of Production support for applications on 24X7 basis
Experience working on cross-functional technical support teams
Experience in AWS Cloud technologies, including AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, Grafana, Cloud networking and architecture
Experience supporting ETL solutions, Databricks support experience being a plus.
Working knowledge of DevOps and delivery tools like Gitlab and Terraform to enhance and support code pipelines and Infrastructure-as-code (IAC).
Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling
Experience building observability and monitoring solutions
Nice to have application migration experience from on-prem to cloud, with AWS certification being a plus
Nice to have practical knowledge of coding (such as python, Java)
Salary Range: $160000 - $185000 / year
