Job Description:

Provide technical equipment design support and project management to develop and working prototype for an automated commercial cheese dispensing solution. Lead and direct team efforts in exploring various applications and approaches that ensures a modular format for adding additional compartments that could lead to a total burger solution.   A primary focus will be on investigating, testing, optimizing and piloting with Food Service Customers.   

Partner in this position is Process Performer of: Design, test and commercialization of new commercial equipment.

What you’ll do:


  • Lead efforts to identify, coordinate and implement new concepts that improve fast food back of house efficiencies, enhance performance and/or reduce    costs

  • Evaluate the development costs, steps and project needs to extend the capability to include other fixings and condiments to deliver a total burger solution to effectively manage our business and recommend appropriate course of action.                     

  • Assist teams in resolving technical issues to seamlessly meet customer requirements.                           

  • Lead project teams in the selection, purchase, installation, and debugging the solutions.                          

  • Communicate and document customer requirements, test results, and recommendations in both verbal and written form. Provide status updates.                           

  • Assist team leader with system-imposed requests as required. (Meetings, personnel issues, technical reviews, advisory help, customer visits etc.)                    

  • Investigate and communicate innovative technologies to the team.                    

  • Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements.

  • Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.

  • Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.

•            Bachelors in Engineering or related field

•            3-5 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering

•            Ability to lead and function in a team environment

•            Electrical Engineering experience

•            Knowledge of Equipment Design management

•            Solid Modeling proficiency in CAD Ability to lead and function in a team environment
