Get to Know This Role
The Innovation Manager is responsible for the development and execution of new products and experiences, with a focus on driving consumer loyalty through small-batch, specialty offerings that reinforce Sierra Nevada's global mastery and leadership of craft beer. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the current craft beer landscape as well exceptional communication, organizational, and project management abilities.

What You Will Do
Support the Director, Insights and Innovation in moving projects forward through the Stage Gate process from design to delivery
Lead a variety of projects including small-batch, limited-release offerings that build brand equity
Help design and oversee our loyalty program and product offerings, ensuring that we’re delivering a premium experience for our members
Work closely with insights leads to action consumer insights that will drive loyalty and increase lifetime customer value with Sierra Nevada customers
Stay highly knowledgeable about craft beverage trends including styles, flavors, new products, etc.
Set project targets and milestones as well as overseeing cross-functional deliverables and deadlines
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design and execute RTM plans and support
Partner with marketing counterparts to develop content and storytelling elements that drive demand
Lead regular status meetings with cross-functional team members to keep everyone on task and hold team members accountable to meet expectations on time
Work with the brewing innovation team to help manage project priorities and assign resources
Maintain budget trackers by project stage to ensure we have the necessary resources available
Foresee potential disruptions or challenges that might derail a project and provide proactive solutions
Monitor weekly progress and keep an ongoing dashboard of where projects are at in their lifecycle
Execute and oversee document management including project charters, new item request forms, etc.
Establishes trust with cross-functional partners and organizational leadership
Position is based at our Chico, CA brewery
Must be willing to work non-standard hours, including some nights and weekends

Bachelor's Degree or any combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved required
Master's Degree preferred
4 years marketing experience required required
2 years brand or product management within the CPG industry required
Previous alcohol industry experience and experience with beverage/CPG brands preferred
Previous experience managing an alcohol club or loyalty program is highly desirable preferred
Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, competitive environments preferred
Must have proven track record of successfully leading and executing projects with successful results
Familiarity with beverage alcohol culture and working knowledge of its key players, brands, trends etc.
Experience working closely with cross-functional and production/operations teams
Need to exhibit thorough knowledge of both the production and commercial processes
Practice utilizing project management platforms and proficiency in Office 365 products
Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities
Ability to focus on details, as well as maintaining an eye on the high-level strategy
Ability to multitask and pivot – focusing on several projects in different lifecycle stages simultaneously
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, learning-oriented culture
