Job Description:

We are looking for a Commercial Advisor to join our Business Services team!

Please note this role is on-site at our Waynesboro, VA location.

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is currently seeking qualified candidates for a highly-motivated, career-oriented individual for a Commercial Advisor position with the Business Services Team that currently services approximately 5,500 business members. We are searching for a Commercial Advisor who will add value to the financial cooperative, by building positive and long-lasting commercial banking relationships with existing and prospective business owners. 

What You’ll have the Opportunity to do:

• Develop and maintain business relationships


• Assess financial information for commercial loan requests


• Prepare annual reviews of existing loans


• Coordinate loan closings


• Communicate and execute sales and service techniques


• Generate new business by professionally presenting business related solutions, products and services


• Maintain a portfolio including complex commercial relationships

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field


• 5 years’ experience in commercial lending is preferred


• Professional appearance and communication skills


• Ability to prioritize and organize workflow


• Attention to detail allowing to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and regulations
