SA-TECH supports the U.S. Army Sustainment Command's Enhance Army Global Logistics Enterprise Logistics Support Services at Schofield Barracks and Pohakuloa Training Area, HI. We provide maintenance services in the form of above-brigade-level, field, sustainment, and limited depot-level maintenance support as well as transportation counseling services and handling passenger, equipment, and cargo movements for Army Field Support Battalion Hawaii's (AFSBn-HAW) assigned tactical units and government affiliated civilian agencies.


We are currently hiring Supply Technicians for our Maintenance Shops at our Schofield Barracks, HI location to oversee the daily management of decentralized/controlled Class IX repair parts across maintenance Shop Stock and Bench Stock programs.


Supply Technicians are responsible for a full range of supply tasks and transactions that include Class IX requisitioning, LP acquisition, inventory, property disposal, decentralized shipping & receiving, and general warehousing requirements. All Shop Supply functions are performed in accordance with Army Regulations 710-2 & 710-2-2 while ensuring the requirements of Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) are met.

Essential job duties include (but may not be limited to):

  • Daily management of decentralized/controlled Class IX repair parts across both the maintenance Shop Stock and Bench Stock programs.
  • Execute a multitude of supply related transactions, utilizing the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Federal Logistics Data (FEDLOG), FEDMALL, Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP), and DLAs WebSDR, with emphasis on Class II, III, IV, & IX requisitioning, repair parts expediting, and status improvement efforts tied to the overall maintenance effort.
  • Supports maintenance work orders associated with the repair of Army tactical/commercial equipment.
  • Associated/assigned tasks tied to the performance of cyclic & periodic inventory, general warehousing practices, material handling, and pick-up and delivery requests.

Work Conditions:

  • Work will be performed in a building that is moderately heated, lighted and ventilated.
  • Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may be subject to inclement weather conditions
  • Must be able to routinely lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:

Education/Experience/Skills

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Specialized training through vocational or military schooling or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Forklift license/certification
  • Relocation assistance is not provided and candidates must reside within commuting distance or indicate a willingness to relocate at their own expense.
  • Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
  • All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
