What you will do 

We are looking for a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer who is ready to take their skills to the next level. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on AEM experience who is excited to grow with a high-impact enterprise team. You’ll work on designing and developing cutting-edge solutions, improving platform performance, and guide the enhancements roadmap and implementation.

This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ or Tampa, FL. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis 2 days per week.

What you can expect 


  • Develop and Implement AEM Solutions: Design and build AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions.

  • Optimize System Architecture: Enhance AEM platform performance, caching strategies, and scalability while ensuring best practices in development and deployment.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with QA, Product Owners, and DevOps to support testing, releases, and seamless migration from Drupal to AEM.

  • Provide Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, establish coding standards, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Drive Project Success: Contribute to the roadmap, troubleshoot issues, and serve as the technical point of contact for AEM development and support. 

What you will bring 


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service), including development of components, templates, workflows, and integrations.

  • Strong proficiency in Java and related AEM technologies, including Sling Models, OSGi components, and JCR APIs.

  • Expertise in front-end development using SASS, JavaScript, Webpack to build dynamic and responsive user interfaces.

  • Proven experience in performance optimization, caching strategies, and AEM dispatcher configurations for scalable solutions.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins, Adobe Environments & Pipelines) and version control systems like Git, with a focus on modern deployment workflows.

What will set you apart? 


  • Experience with AEM Migration Projects: Prior experience in migrating enterprise platforms (e.g., Drupal to AEM) or implementing AEM as a Cloud Service.

  • Adobe Analytics and Data Layer Integration: Hands-on experience integrating Adobe Analytics and developing custom data layers for advanced tracking and reporting.

  • DevOps and Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and tools like Jenkins for DevOps. Ability to look through logs and diagnoise issues.

  • Performance Optimization Expertise: Strong skills in fine-tuning AEM performance, dispatcher caching, and optimizing large-scale content delivery.

  • Mentorship and Leadership Potential: Demonstrated experience mentoring junior developers or taking ownership of technical decision-making and team guidance.

  • Adobe Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with related Adobe products like Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or AEM Forms to extend platform capabilities.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $125,000 to $160,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
