MAINTENANCE TECHNICAL CLEANER-2nd SHIFT
Provide support to the production process through the preventive maintenance of coolant systems and machine cleaning, monitoring and filling of coolant tanks, hydraulic tanks and way lube dispensers along with tank farm operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Removes chips from chip strainers and baskets in coolant tanks and washers as scheduled.
Monitors washer pressures, change filters as required.
Cleans coolant tanks and washers as required.
Monitors area around machines for fluid leaks, report leaks to supervisor, clean up leaks.
Monitors scheduled machines on weekends, maintain check sheets and report issues to managers.
Cleans equipment after each use.
Cleans sump pump daily.
Assures segregation of oily wastes and coolant.
Follows assigned routes on keeping coolant tanks and washer tank levels full and at proper concentrations, including hydraulic oil and way lube.
Trains with vendor on testing and adding to coolant to maintain specified concentrations.
Prepares daily paperwork on coolant concentration and pH data sheet.
Prepares daily paperwork on wash tank concentration.
Tracks all raw coolant usage on coolant sheet.
Monitors bacteria levels in machines (smell and sight). Adjusts as required.
Keeps coolant recycling totes in process clean and ready for use.
Monitors and operate coolant recycling farm, including the centrifuge, etc.
Adds hydraulic oil to keep tanks at proper level. Reports high usage to Maintenance Manager.
Adds way lube to lubricators as needed during operation.
Monitors the usage of hydraulic oil and way lube, advises Maintenance Manager of excess usage.
Monitors area around machines for fluid leaks. Reports leaks to Maintenance Planner.
Monitors scheduled machines on weekends and reports to Department Managers.
Completes assigned weekend work as assigned during scheduled weekends.
Maintains regular and punctual attendance, in accordance with scheduled work hours, and overtime(OT) as assigned.
Meets all physical and environmental requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Certifications/Licenses: Able to obtain a Gibbs issued Powered Industrial Lift License
Experience: N/A
