Job Description:

As a Content Specialist is an enterprise role at a healthcare company. This is a pivotal role in managing and enhancing provider and location listings as well as service line pages to ensure they are accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a healthcare background, experience in tools like Yext and Dexcare, and CMS knowledge. You will collaborate across teams to optimize profiles and service pages, making them robust and engaging for end users. The Content Specialist will directly report to the Web Content Manager with close collaboration to the Manager of Content Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Input and Maintenance: Manage and update provider and location details, along with service line pages, ensuring information is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with marketing goals.
• Information Enhancement: Proactively research and gather additional details to enrich provider, location, and service line content, focusing on user engagement and discoverability. Gather information about current structure and content of similar organizations. Utilize best practices from professional organizations.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with providers, department heads, and the Digital Web Services team to ensure content reflects the most current and relevant information.
• SEO & Discoverability: Collaborate with the Senior SEO Strategist to implement optimization strategies for provider and location listings and service line pages to improve search engine visibility and usability.
• Content Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for maintaining and enhancing service line pages to ensure they effectively communicate offerings and value to patients. Draft new content for key pages for both service line areas as well as colleges, departments and research areas.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of provider, location, and service line content to identify gaps, outdated information, or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions.
• Tools & Technology: Leverage Yext, Dexcare, Sitecore CMS, and other relevant platforms to maximize content capabilities and user impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in data management, content production, or digital marketing.
• Experience with CMS platforms, specifically Sitecore or similar enterprise-grade systems.
• Ability to anticipate and identify problems and develop possible solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and pursue information proactively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written communication
• Background in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology and concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a healthcare or academic medical center setting.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Proven ability to create engaging, user-centric content for digital platforms.
• Familiarity with Yext and Dexcare (or similar platforms).
