The Dispatcher is accountable for dispatching, communication with customers, scheduling loads, truck movement, and plant upkeep where applicable.
What you will do
Schedules/coordinates maintenance and repairs of equipment with maintenance/mechanics
Communicating with vendors and suppliers for inventory management
Coordinating with plant operators to ensure efficient production
Monitoring and tracking plant operations where applicable
Analyzing production data and making recommendations for process improvements
Collaborating with other departments and assigning tasks as needed
Ensures fueling, oiling, greasing equipment is being completed as well as understanding the equipment's safety manual
Ensures pre-shift and end of shift checks and maintenance on equipment are being completed
Conduct plant maintenance, including but not limited to daily shoveling, sweeping, general plant housekeeping, and any necessary repairs or services to mobile and stationary equipment
Ensures the proper safety incident procedures and reporting processes are followed, bringing safety concerns to the attention of their manager
Communicates with management and staff on conditions of stationary and mobile equipment, as well as any possible improvements or ideas

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Ability to work within an office environment and use standard office equipment
Ability to lift 50 lbs and shovel
Ability to continuously stand or walk on level or uneven ground
Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairways or incline catwalks
Ability to bend, crouch and/or kneel at waist or knees
Ability to carry, lift, push or pull 50 lbs
Ability to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditions. Exposure to heat, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions
Qualifications
1+ years experience in a Dispatching position preferred
Civil/Construction experience preferred
