The EMG Technologist prepares patients for and conducts standard electromyographic tests which measure muscle response and nerve conduction; collects information pertinent to the interpretation of the test; and assists in the maintenance of equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education: An Associate's degree in health science or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary; a Bachelor's degree is desirable.
Experience: Considerable experience with the methods, equipment and materials used in electromyography is necessary
