The Business Development Manager role is designed for an experienced individual looking to continue to grow in their career by supporting the company's expansion and growth. Managers act in a leadership capacity and promote a collaborative, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment. Individuals at this level will have the experience and ability to effectively manage people, projects, and client relationships.

Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager will provide support across the business development lifecycle as TransformCare continues its growth. Specific examples of this include:

· Support the buildout of corporate market position and bolster identification, capture, and closure of business opportunities.

· Utilize market research tools to identify new opportunities, track existing opportunities, and conduct competitive landscape research in support of bid/no-bid decisions.

· Assist in the development and maintenance of an active pipeline of opportunities.

· Assist in qualifying opportunities using a wide variety of information and resources to support a bid/no-bid review process.

· Attend Industry Days and pre-proposal conferences and conduct meaningful networking with customers and industry partners.

· Manage and organize information received from industry events and conferences.

· Support the selection of teaming partners for opportunities and as required, support data calls.

· Participate in proposal development and review processes.

· Support responses to federal/DoD market research, sources sought, and Requests for Information (RFIs).

· Collaborate with project teams to cultivate new opportunities with existing customers.

· Manage and prioritize designated project tasks with minimal guidance.

· Demonstrate flexibility and agility in fast-paced and, at times, ambiguous environments.

· Apply critical thinking and strategic analysis to solve complex problems.

· Lead and manage specified client interactions.

· Mentor junior team members.

· Other duties as required.

Work Location

Work requires travel of up to 20% in the continental U.S., depending on specific assignments. The business development manager must live within one hour of a major airport.

Compensation for the position posted in accordance with various states and local legislation for a permanent remote position: Annual salary of $ 100,000-$150,000+ benefits (depending upon experience and qualifications).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; master's degree preferred
• 8+ years' experience in federal contracting, people, and project management
• Experience with solutioning for federal healthcare agencies (VHA, DHA, and/or CMS)
• Experience in two or more of the following service areas:
  • Value-based care
  • Process improvement
  • Program evaluation
  • Data Analytics
  • Program and project management
• Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• U.S. citizenship (client requirement)
