Who Were Looking For - Reporting to the Manager, Cost Accounting we are seeking an Inventory Cost Accountant (CONTRACT) who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and following up on issues. With knowledge of accounting principles and excellent attention to detail to support the inventory process, this role will assist with reconciling inventory accounts, freight allocation by SKU, and participate in the month-end.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and perform analysis on key cost of goods sold and inventory general ledger accounts
Support the inventory process; landed cost, labor, raw material and BOM costing
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile inventory accounts
Monitor inventory and labor recording activities to ensure proper reporting of production costs
Support and participate in month-end process as it relates to inventory
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
Work closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
1+ years of advancing expertise in cost accounting, general ledger management, and inventory accounting
Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Experience in Netsuite (Inventory) preferred
Prior accounts payable or invoicing knowledge preferred
BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related degree a plus
