Are you a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a passion for infection control and promoting patient safety? Whitney Oaks Care Center, located in Carmichael, CA, is seeking a full-time Infection Preventionist to join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on resident care.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, implement, and oversee the facility's infection prevention and control program.


• Monitor, investigate, and report infections in compliance with CDC, state, and federal guidelines.


• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention practices.


• Conduct audits and ensure adherence to infection control policies.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.

• Current LVN license in good standing in California.


• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (or willingness to obtain).


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
