UC Health is hiring a Full Time Compliance Operations Analyst

Under the direction of a Compliance and Business Ethics Department director, the Compliance Operations Analyst will assist with the coordination and monitoring of Compliance activities for all UC Health entities. The Compliance Operations Analyst will participate in training activities, auditing and monitoring, and will provide assistance for all entities with compliance with Compliance and Business Ethics Department policies and procedures.

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Care Related
  • Certification in Healthcare Privacy Compliance, preferred
  • Minimum Required: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience

  • Receive patient and associate complaints and maintain databases to track potential and/or actual violations of law or policy and reporting obligations.
  • Assist with reporting violations of law within the appropriate time frames.
  • Maintain Compliance Department electronic systems and build reports for data monitoring and reporting.
  • Assist with compliance investigations, risk assessment, and mitigation.
  • Assist with the preparation of data, written reports, and meeting minutes for various UC Health Committees.
  • Cooperate with Federal and State regulators and/or other legal entities in any compliance reviews or investigations

Legal and Regulatory Compliance Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of governmental laws and regulations that affect healthcare compliance.
  • Provide institutional support with knowledge of Compliance and Business Ethics policies, procedures and training requirements.
  • Work with Site Compliance Coordinators and/or sites as needed to improve and/or maintain compliance.

Conduct Compliance Audits:

  • Assist with the development of the annual work plan, audit schedule, and identification of areas to be audited based on program data.
  • Collect data through provider and facility self-audits.
  • Collect and maintain data from audits to ensure loop closure.
  • Manage data and produce reports identifying deficiencies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance auditing and monitoring strategies.

Multi-Departmental Compliance Program Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between departmental compliance programs including policies, practices, investigations, and act as a liaison with other departments.

Compliance Program Development and Improvement:

  • Work with the department director to develop compliance improvement plans and facilitate measures to improve compliance.

Education and Training:

  • Create and maintain new education tools for associates across all entities.
  • Develop and maintain department standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training support for all training modalities: computer based training, new associate orientation, new leader orientation and in-service training.
  • Assist in writing education and communication pieces on behalf of the department.

  • Assist with monitoring department complaint methods and electronic systems.
