Position Summary
As a seasoned professional, the Program Manager III demonstrates excellence in managing complex portfolios of energy efficiency programs. In this hands-on management role, you will provide leadership to all aspects of an energy program and will work closely with both clients and our energy professionals to achieve client energy efficiency goals and other program objectives. The Program Manager III position is responsible for program budget development and oversight, expert financial acumen, is a strategic partner to the client advising and making recommendations for program improvement, team development and engagement, vendor and client relationships, and more.

Actively engage in talent management process, including interviewing, resource planning and utilization, engagement planning, performance evaluations, and more
May manage other Program Managers
Act as the Senior Leader over program portfolio's and lower-level program managers including mentoring, coaching, and development
Proactive provide best in class communication and reporting to Client
Oversee program operations to ensure client requirements are met and continuously provide innovation to clients to deliver the goal better and effective
Develop and expand client relationship as a trusted advisor; strong relationships at all levels of client's and key stakeholders' organization
Lead partner and client contract management process
Strengthen opportunities for community engagement, such as establishing relationships with community colleges, utilities, condo associations, etc. Build leadership and reputation in energy efficiency within the community we operate.
Lead and support company-wide Safety efforts
Orchestrate partnership and work between centralized functions and program staff
Acting as company stakeholder creating and leading company trainings, development, safety initiatives, and more
Recognize when issues are occurring and take proper steps towards resolution
Minimal oversite from senior management in the day-to-day operations
Be able to develop a network of diversity service providers
Develop and deliver polished and prepared client presentations; responds to client questions with confidence and accuracy
Ensure successful delivery of program goals as indicated in Statement of Work
Develop and manage production plan for program
Monitor and manage program budgets to ensure full utilization of funds while meeting or exceeding energy goals
Prepare monthly invoices and activity reports as required to the client, partner or company management by the requested due date
Managing multiple, joint, or complex utility programs
Analyze, make recommendations, and advise on financial metrics while reporting on and driving program performance as the subject matter expert
Co-lead with Business Development in collaboration and sharing of expertise on sector-based program design, program re-bids, and client expansions
Has a comprehensive understanding of the program's strategic direction regarding energy efficiency and the business activities of its customers
Anticipating needs in all programmatic functions and making recommendations to improve client relationships, program offerings, revenue generation, etc.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Background in engineering, technology or science and experience in working in a technical environment - preferred
Experience in lighting, HVAC, and other technologies installed applications - preferred
Technical experience in developing and/or reviewing energy savings calculations to determine paybacks and incentive levels for customers - preferred
6 or more years of management experience or 3 or more years of experience in managing energy efficiency programs or equivalent experience and demonstrated success
Proven track record of high-level performance in meeting and exceeding expectations and goals
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Proven Leadership in fast paced environment
Have an ability to prioritize workload and delegate appropriate work assignments to staff
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written with customers, clients, and employees
Sales or business development background a plus
Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems
