About TPI 


We are a leading wind-blade manufacturer and the only independent wind blade manufacturer with a global footprint. We are enabling many of the industry’s leading wind turbine original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to outsource the manufacturing of a larger portion of their wind blades, thus expanding their global wind blade capacity. We manufacture advanced composite products to our customers’ exact specifications in facilities designed, built, and strategically located either near our customers’ target markets or in low-cost, world-class locations, to minimize total delivered cost. In addition, we provide global field service maintenance and repairs for wind turbine OEMs and asset owners by leveraging our global footprint and approximately 12,000 capable associates. We are building a growing global team of experienced technicians to provide best-in-class wind blade service capabilities.  


 About the Role 


 Our Recruiter supports the talent acquisition process by performing recruitment activities to attract and hire associates at all levels, from entry-level production to site leadership for our manufacturing operations in Iowa. The takes a leading role supporting the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates and may assist with other Human Resources activities, associate relations and HR Projects.


 In addition to solid talent sourcing and hiring skills, the successful candidate will have experience with high-volume recruiting in a manufacturing environment and demonstrated passion for driving employee engagement and diversity & inclusion programs. If this describes you, we invite you to speak to us about this opportunity to grow our wind blade business. 


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 



  • Support the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals, culture, and workforce needs.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements, develop job descriptions, and establish recruitment strategies.

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, coordinating with functional managers to ensure a smooth transition into TPI, including orientation, training, and integration into the team and company culture.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement and morale within the manufacturing plant.

  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.

  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire.

  • Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.

  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.

  • Perform simultaneous interpretations during new hire classes, group meetings, associate roundtables, etc.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations governing employment practices within the manufacturing plant, including but not limited to safety protocols, labor laws, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, to maintain a compliant and ethical workplace.

 Who we’re looking for: 



  • Two-year degree in business, human resources, communications, marketing, or public relations and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

  • Bi-lingual language capability and ability to interpret and translate (English/Spanish) preferred.

  • Previous high-volume recruiting experience in an industrial services or manufacturing environment.

  • Hands-on experience with large job sites, such as LinkedIn and other aggregators

  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn and Facebook.

  • Previous associate relations experience.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Proven success working in a collaborative, supportive team environment.

This position is a hybrid role located at our wind blade manufacturing site in Newton, Iowa.
