Your Role
As the Strategic Product/Portfolio Manager, you will lead the strategic management of our product portfolio for Product Characterization, Viral Clearance and Manufacturing (incl. cell banking). The ideal candidate will conduct market analysis, develop application and business cases, drive innovation processes, and support the execution of strategic initiatives to enhance our market presence.
Main Responsibilities:
Market Analysis & Insights:
Conduct comprehensive market analysis and research to gather insights on trends, competition, and customer needs pertinent to the managed portfolio.
Develop market-specific strategies and roadmaps for the respective franchise, including the innovation pipeline.
External Partnerships:
Evaluate potential areas for collaboration from a marketing perspective, providing strategic guidance on new technologies.
Facilitate alpha and beta testing and engage with early adopters to establish frameworks and specific characteristics for partnerships.
Application & Business Case Development:
Develop comprehensive application and business cases triggered by Product Development Processes (PDPs) to support portfolio development and innovation.
Create business cases for substantial and cross-functional capacity expansion.
Positioning & Innovation:
Play a key role in driving the innovation processes (PDP, TDP) to meet customer expectations and effectively position the portfolio in the market.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align innovative ideas and ensure successful execution.
Drive go-to-market (GTM) activities in partnership with marketing communications (Marcom) and scientific subject matter experts (SMEs), including webinars, collateral, flyers, and social media initiatives.
Strategy Support & Execution:
Support the development of the marketing plan and ensure alignment with overall business strategies.
Participate in annual processes such as Strategic Development (SD) and Operational Planning (OP).

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or a related role within the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across cross-functional teams.
Experience in driving product innovation and managing go-to-market activities and aborative work environment.
Pay Range for this position: $114,200 - $186,800
