Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the accounting functions in Accounts Receivable. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Job Responsibilities
Contact customers for payment on past due accounts
Process credit applications
New customer set up and account maintenance
Process credit memos to customers
Respond to inquiries from customers, and research/resolve outstanding credit issues
Maintain credit invoice and supporting documentation files
Monitor credit holds in Account Receivable
Respond to inquiries from sites and sales team
Salesforce.com case maintenance
Maintain unapplied payment report
Process release of lien requests
Process credit references
Handle customer payments received in house and send to lockbox when necessary
Process tax-exempt certificates
Work with salespeople on their accounts/collections
Maintain major customer accounts; reconciling and resolving open balances
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years related experience
Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent telephone skills
Team player - ability to share information within the department and company
Compensation
$20 - $25/hr based on experience
