Position Summary:
Join our Global Services & Support (GSS) FP&A team as a Senior Financial Analyst! We provide service and application support to our customer's instruments and operates across all Divisions and Regions within the Life Sciences Group. This position will support to the Sr. Manager, Finance and will partner directly with the GSS Function leaders. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the key FP&A processes and driving growth and efficiency for GSS. The responsibilities include ownership of Opex OCOGS, Productivity, and CAPEX projects. Besides that, you will act as point of contact for business unit financials for Protein Cell Analysis and MicroArrray. It is a role that requires a self-starter with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities. Establishing relationships with business leaders in the respective functions is critical! Informative analyses and clear communication with senior finance leadership is needed.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Finance partner for GSS management to drive growth for the business
Develop regular monthly/quarterly management reporting packages, including financial and key performance indicator metrics.
Month end close: Prepare journal entries, coordinate CAPEX, Productivity reporting, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Return on Investment modeling for GSS projects/investments
Represent GSS Finance for quarterly business reviews for revenue, cost, and margin commentary
Headcount management to ensure accuracy for internal managerial reporting and optimize resource allocation to drive operational efficiency
Minimum requirements/Qualifications
Must have: Proficient in Hyperion planning system, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms a plus
Familiarity with a tier 1 ERP system (E1, SAP, etc.) a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
3-5 years of shown experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs preferably in a matrixed organization

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.
