Job Summary: Roosevelt University's Department of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Data Science seeks a non-tenure-track lecturer to begin August 2019. This faculty member will teach courses in the cyber and information security programs and in the computer science core. Primary responsibility is to teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, advising, conducting course assessments, service contributions on committees, participation in recruitment events and contributing to our campus diversity goals (e.g. incorporate issues of diversity into mentoring, curriculum, or service).

Working Hours:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and experience teaching computer science courses in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field; college level teaching experience; teaching interest in cyber security and at least two areas of: computer organization, computer architecture, cloud computing, software engineering. The applicant is expected to teach security and computer science courses.
