This position has the responsibility to provide supplier quality support to the manufacturing SE plants for PP suppliers of Schneider Electric.
What will you do?
• Drive proactive quality, delivery, and productivity improvement with Schneider Electric's supply base
• Accelerate change with cross-functional stakeholders
• Conduct quality system evaluations of new and existing suppliers
• Conduct material process and quality plan audits of existing suppliers as needed
• Coach/Train the supply base on Schneider Electric's expectations, systems, and performance objectives
• Respond and drive rapid resolution to emergency quality and delivery issues
• Day to day Supplier Quality Management in SE manufacturing facility
• Up to 20% travel in US and Mexico.
What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ME, EE, or IE)
• 5+ years of work experience in a plant responsible for quality, manufacturing, design Engineering, and/or supply chain.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO-9000, Quality Core tools such as Control Plan, PFMEA, GD&T, Problem Solving methodologies (8D).
• Knowledge on injection molding, thermoset technology, metal stamping, sheet metal or finishing processes such as plating, painting, welding, etc.
• Experience performing TS/ISO Audits internally or with suppliers
• Problem solver and work in a team environment.
• Highly driven individuals capable of working independently and must have a passion to drive world class quality within the supply base.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Project Management Experience preferred.
