Salary: $65,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
We are working with a growing food manufacturer seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee the sanitation operations of their manufacturing facility. As a critical member of their team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety. This is a 1st shift opportunity.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and lead a team of sanitation workers to efficiently and effectively clean and sanitize all production areas, equipment, and utensils.
    • Schedule and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of sanitation duties.
    • Train and develop sanitation staff to maintain high standards of performance.
    • Monitor employee performance and address any issues promptly.

  • Sanitation Operations:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Ensure adherence to all sanitation guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
    • Conduct regular inspections of production areas to identify and address sanitation issues.
    • Monitor chemical usage and inventory to optimize costs and minimize environmental impact.
    • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to coordinate sanitation schedules and minimize downtime.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to verify sanitation effectiveness.
    • Implement corrective actions to address any sanitation deficiencies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sanitation records.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
    • Conduct regular safety training and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing sanitation, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of sanitation principles, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
