About the Role

This position reports to the Director, SBA Division and allows you to partner with other team members and key stakeholders to provide Incredible Customer Experiences of your own! Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Understands and adheres to the Bank's Loan Policy, the SBA SOP and other business lending compliance rules and regulations.
  • Works closely with SBA Portfolio and Workout teams in providing reporting and updates on portfolio issues.
  • Assists in coordinating loan transactions with third parties such as appraisers, attorneys, title companies, real estate agents, etc. on assigned requests.
  • Assist in monitoring the portfolio for early-stage delinquencies, assesses risk based on past due performance and escalates for loss mitigation as needed.
  • Assists in documentation preparation to request SBA repurchase of loans sold on secondary market.
  • Servicing of all types of government guaranteed loans to maintain compliance with Bank/SBA policies.
  • Typically manages a portfolio of not more than 20 clients.
  • Maintains existing SBA portfolio by monitoring tickler items, required financials, etc. to ensure compliance with bank and government policies.
  • Will assist in the creation of new procedures and processes in the SBA Portfolio & Special Asset area.

This is a regular full-time position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday.

This position will work on-site at our 17th Avenue branch location in Wausau, WI.

  • A four-year degree from an accredited University in a related field or a combination of education and experience related to business lending, processing and compliance required.
  • 2 years of related experience with SBA lending preferred.
  • 2 years of SBA workout experience and legal documentation knowledge preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient computer knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software.
