Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
As the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Director, you'll play a vital role in enhancing Best Buy's effectiveness through strategic organizational design, data analysis and research, employee engagement, and change management. You'll work closely with leadership, HR business partners and various departments to assess organizational needs. Then, you'll design effective structures and implement strategies that ensure the health and success of work at Best Buy.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you'll doDesign, lead and facilitate organizational effectiveness through organizational design, employee engagement and managing large-scale change initiativesDevelop an approach to measure, collect, analyze, interpret and summarize organizational data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvementStart with data and external benchmarking to design plans, influence senior leaders and model data decision-makingManage multiple projects at once while overseeing team members' effortsFacilitate education and coaching, both within your team and across the organization, to create greater effectiveness and efficiencyLead, coach and provide performance feedback to team members to ensure team skills and expectations are met
Basic qualifications8 years of HR, strategy, change management, industrial organizational psychology, or management consulting. 5 years of direct or indirect leadership experienceStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levelsExperience with organizational effectiveness and change methodologies, including applying frameworks and best practices. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred qualifications7 years of experience managing and leading strategic initiatives within a complex organization3 years of organizational design experience or workforce planning experienceAbility to adapt to changes and continuously improve processes based on learnings and feedbackAbility to align HR and organizational strategies with business objectivesOrgvue, Workday, or similar HR systems acumen
