Capital Hilton is looking for its next Senior Sales Manager!

Our historic hotel is in the heart of the nation's capital, less than a mile from McPherson Square metro station. The National Mall, Georgetown, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum are within two miles. We offer comfortable rooms and suites, two restaurants, and extensive event space.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is well-rounded, business-minded, and ready to take on the challenge of securing group and convention bookings. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, communication, and networking skills, along with a deep understanding of customer needs. Shift Pattern: Full availability is required.

Pay Rate: $80,000-$95,000 (final offer based on experience )

What will I be doing?
As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for securing group and convention business by building and nurturing relationships with customers. This role involves maximizing hotel revenue through proactive sales efforts, market research, and a strategic approach to business development.

Position Summary:


  • Research, solicit, and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts to meet and exceed lead generation goals.
  • Represent the hotel in developing market segments and building new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Strive consistently to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.
  • Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Demonstrate a disciplined approach to qualifying, negotiating, and securing new revenue for the hotel. #LI-AT3
