Job Description:

The beautiful, family friendly Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is seeking a Reservations Manager to join their team! This 1000+ room property is connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs® and offers luxury suites and amenities for magical vacations! As a Reservations Manager, you would be responsible for managing and assisting the Director of Reservations to ensure the proper day to day operation and functioning of the Reservations Department. Ideal candidates for this position will have previous reservations supervisory or leadership experience, ideally at a large resort-style property!

Shift Pattern: Full availability, Primarily Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

What will I be doing?

As a Reservations Manager, you would be responsible for managing and assisting the Director of Reservations to ensure the proper day to day operation and functioning of the Reservations Department. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Lead the department to more proactive, revenue-driven sales
• Demonstrate expertise in all areas of reservations process, systems, and general operations of the hotel
• Manage the coordination of room reservations and related functions with in-house departments and clients
• Maintain ownership of group blocks, including pickup numbers, reservation methods and billing
• Train, coach and counsel reservations agents and reservations supervisors
• Manage/assign special projects as needed
