Our client is seeking a dedicated and creative Assistant Designer to join their dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about fashion and design, looking to contribute to a vibrant and innovative team.

As an Assistant Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of commercially viable product designs across collections. You will coordinate and deliver brand-right designs that align with the overall concept and business strategy, encompassing style, color/print, fit, and fabric for new/existing product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the design team in creating brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy
- Deliver design sketches/prototypes and provide clear specifications for construction
- Build and maintain the sample room
- Create flat sketches and CAD images
- Prepare the design team for routine and milestone meetings, including the coordination of line presentation boards/tableaus and selection of product samples
- Communicate ongoing development details to internal partners and vendors
- Partner with technical design on fit and execution of prototypes, assisting with scheduled fittings and necessary follow-up
- Track and organize development samples, ensuring they are delivered within required timelines
- Attend routine team meetings and key partner alignment sessions
- Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience
- Entry-level with some design experience in a comparable retail environment
- Exceptional talent with a commercial fashion eye and detail in product styling/performance
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to recall information
- Customer service philosophy and collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach
- Highly motivated, passionate, and results-oriented
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; Centric a plus

This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring at least three days in the office. Our client provides a company computer and there is potential for conversion to a full-time position for high-performing talent. Candidates must complete a background check and drug screen upon offer.
