Critter Control Wildlife Services is seeking a motivated and dynamic Territory Operations Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in expanding our customer base and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wildlife management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Responsibilities

The Territory Operations Manager is responsible for leading their Wildlife Operations team in the assigned territory. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and expect this candidate to continue this tradition. As a Territory Operations Manager, you will direct the sales and service functions of your district to provide quality service to customers and achieve district performance objectives. District Managers are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the operation and maintain profit and loss accountability.

What does a day in the life look like?


  • Lead and supervise wildlife operations within your designated territory, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Train and mentor team members in wildlife biology, entomology, and operational procedures, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage and optimize field operations, including route management and resource allocation, to achieve efficiency and growth targets.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of personnel, ensuring compliance with licensing and ongoing education requirements.

  • Maintain financial accountability for the district, including budget management and expense control, to achieve profitability goals.

  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting.

We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.


  • Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories

  • Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.)

  • Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely

  • Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently

  • Capability to carry and use equipment necessary for inspections and minor control measures (Traps, ladders, inspection tools, etc)

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

  • Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members

  • Must be able to travel up to 25%
