Tire Bay Technician
Job Description:
Safely manipulate tire/rim assemblies on loaders, forklifts, tractors, trailers and multiple types of equipment. Identify tires which need replacement from both normal an abnormal wear and/or damage. Follow proper procedures to mount/dismount tires and install properly on equipment. Ability to manipulate 200lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance for 12-hour shifts. Tech will be walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling Up to 75lbs in all types of weather. Willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull bend and stoop for 12-hour shifts. Tech will be performing service calls on equipment at remote locations away from the garage.
Requirements:
Must be able to recognize and document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings and signage.
Must be able to Document part numbers on log sheets and work orders, track parts/tire usage.
Must be able to document and log labor hours on work orders and log sheets.
Must hold a Valid driver's license.
Safety toed foot ware are required.
Work Experience: Must have 3 months of work with single employer in last 6 months.
*Prior Tyson team members must not have worked 3 times or more for Tyson to be considered for position.
*Prior Tyson team members are eligible to apply after completing 180-day waiting period.
