Beacon Hill Life Sciences has an exciting Entry Level Biomarker Operations Specialist opportunity! This is a remote opportunity (Central / East Coast ideal) to work a fantastic team!
Responsibilities:
Assist the Biomarker Operations Manager in sample reconciliation, sample tracking and sample requests to lab vendors including overseeing sample shipments between vendors and sites, managing sample request trackers, and filing final shipment manifests
Assist in managing study timelines, including documentation and communication
Manage and update Biomarker Management Plan with sample collection information
Participate in study team meetings with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timelines are understood and met
Ability to contribute feedback and review SOP development, Protocol Review, Lab Manuals, SOW's, and other study specific documents that require functional review as a peer review
Assist in the development of a sample tracking tool with cross-functional team members
Develop tools and processes that optimize project effectiveness
Requirements:
Preferred knowledge of full cycle clinical study
Preferred knowledge of ICH, GCP and GLP guidelines
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Drive
Preferred experience in managing work of external vendors
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and think critically
Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Ability to execute multiple tasks as assigned
Ability to be a team player and work alongside cross-functional teams
Education:
BA/BS with 1+ year relevant experience in either clinical operations, bio-sample specimen, or other scientific related fields
