Lincoln Electric is seeking a Health and Product Evaluation Technician for our Automation division in Euclid, Ohio. The Health and Product Evaluation Technician will play a key role by providing environmental health and safety (EHS) support to our innovative and cutting edge automation products group.

What You Will Do
The Health and Product Evaluation Technician assists in environmental studies and industrial hygiene monitoring and related activities. Specifically, this role will do the following:
Provides SDS (Safety Data Sheet) review, updating and related data input into designated databases. Assists in the completion of special product evaluation welding fume testing and modeling, according to prescribed procedures.
Assists in the evaluation of new consumable products to support internal product chemical data management and compliance processes.
Welds test plates. Performs Product Analysis Reports and related fume studies on existing and new consumable products.
Develops and fabricates welding fixtures.
Uses Checkpoint to collect data on welding activities
Perform special projects at the direction of the Health and Product Evaluation Manager.
Experience & Education Required
Minimum two years of experience related EHS type expereince.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-high school course work a plus.
Welding experience required preferably with SMAW (manual), GMAW (semiautomatic and/or automatic), and FCAW (semiautomatic and/or automatic Welding Certifications preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and keep accurate records.
Basic experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, OUtlook and Excel.
Mechanically inclined and have a basic knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
Capable of interfacing with personnel at all levels in the organization to achieve objectives and communicate a positive attitude toward EHS processes and initiatives.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
