Summary:

Manages and coordinates the care of patients participating in a clinical research study with guidance from preceptor, educator and/or administrator; educates patients, families and staff regarding study compliance; collects a complete and accurate study data set and facilitates accrual to clinical research studies. Note, this is an in-person position, located in Buffalo NY. Hours are variable; after initial training period of several months, this position will have flexible hours to include limited working hours on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Ability to travel for an in-person interview is required.


The salary range for this position which includes an geographic differential is $70,887 - $88,793 annually and also includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.




Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience


1. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time acute care or clinical research experience; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time acute care or clinical research experience.


NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) within three (3) years of appointment as a condition of continued employment.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.



Preferred Qualifications:



The preferred candidate will have the following:

• Previous Clinical Research Experience at an Academic Medical Center


• Previous Oncology Clinical Experience


• Certification by either ACRP or SOCRA


• Education - Bachelor's Degree Medical or Life Sciences


• Experience with FDA regulations and CGP/ICH guidance


• CITI-course training


• Previous experience with Serious Adverse Event & UP Reporting
